Nosocomial or Hospital Acquired Infection and Control

Nosocomial infection is also known as Hospital-acquired infection (HAI) is an infection that is acquired in a health care facility or in a hospital. Such an infection can be acquired in a nursing home, in hospital, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation facility or other clinical settings. Infection is spread to the vulnerable patient by various means in a clinical setting.
